I have my first experiment used AgNP (Ag nano particle) for sterilization as sterilization solution and in medium culture. I have AgNP powder. Some of jurnals i had read, wrote that they dissolve the AgNP in pure water or distilled water.
I had tried it, but i found silver sedimentation in my medium and my solution.
is it normal? will it effective if i use them? or i just did wrong method to dissolve my AgNP.
can you suggest me something that will solve my problem? thank you
Do you mean dissolve (if so, nitric acid works well......HCl doesn't - do you know why?) or disperse? For an overview see:

Dr. Jalindar, can you suggest me what the best temperature that i should use if i use sonication method? because i heard that temperature sometimes be the factor which influence the result.
