Hello altruits!

Does anyone have a protocol on how to house and treat WHHL rabbits for CHD? I have searched and consulted handful of literature to find out the diet to use for this model, but could not determine a suitable protocol. I understood this animal model is LDL receptor deficient and can develop hyperlipedemia on chow diet. But could not find a solid protocol on the dietary specifications. I chose this animal model because they can be used without performing any surgical procedure to implant balloon to mimick the block in the arteries. I think i got that part correct. Correct me if I am wrong. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
