When scanning a specimen via XRD for calculating the average size of grains of material, there is an error factor called "broadening effect". It means that, because of the inaccuracy of equipment the scanning result peaks had been broadened. In order to reduce this effect, research needs to add a deduced factor in Scherrer's equation. In this case, the broadening effect factor needs to be adjusted with a specific Bragg angle value accordingly.
