How to determine the K and a value of a polymer solvent sytem?

We are trying to determine the molecular weight of a polysaccharide extracted from Ganoderma sp. by using the Mark-Houwink equation. However, I cannot seem to find the K and a values needed to use in the equation. A link to the relevant information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, the standard procedure to get these parameters would use references with a known molecular weight. You can get the molecular weight by techniques that don't require sample-specific constants such as osmometry, GPC, SLS, or DLS.
