How to determine Sample Size for Resonant Ultrasonic Spectroscopy?

I want to measure the elastic constants of metals with RUS but don't know if there is any specifications on the sample size. Thanks.

Hi, Wen,

Usually the population size determines the sample size regardless of the experiment type. For an experiment with limited number of samples, a sample size of 5 me be enough, but again, if your population is large, then use also a big sample size, at the end, the bigger the more representative and thus, the better.
