How to determine flow rate in an electrochemical biosensor?

I am working on an electrochemical biosensor. I simulated the structure by COMSOL, and now, I want to start the fabrication of it. I would like to know how to determine flow rate and pressure in a microfluidic device? are they experimental data? or I can determine them with simulation?
