In powdered food material, the bulk density is measured by taken the food material in a cylinder and weight / (volume occupied by material in cylinder) while for soil it is measured by core soil sampler. But if we mix a material in soil then the bulk density of soil changes as well as the soil got disturbed. Hence how we will determine this soil bulk density?

I found something like this here:
"The fluid pycnometer method described in this part of ISO 17892 applies to soil types with particle sizes under about 4 mm, or soils crushed to meet this requirement."
