I isolated pathogenic bacteria from cancer patients, I will isolate plasmid DNA from these bacteria. I want to design suitable primers to detect ESBLs on plasmid, How and What is the suitable tool to design primers?
What do you already know about these bacteria and their plasmids? Check the literature to see if someone else has designed a similar assay.
Also, not sure if you need to design a PCR-based assay or not. Another option is to pay to have the entire plasmid sequenced.
Hope that helps!
