I have 9 years disease data and I wanted to create maps showing incidence of a disease from different districts at country level on yearly basis. Previously I have been using CorelDraw to draw such maps on small scale but now I am facing difficulty in choosing different colors based upon disease incidence. The data is too huge to handle easily. Thanking you in anticipation.
I would suggest using a remote sensing software, like ArcGIS or similar, to create the maps. Then you can import a map of your choice, and simply assign different values to each of your districts based on the index you want to showcase and base the colour on each value.

If you prefer R to standard GIS softwares, you can use its packages 'sf' or 'sp'.

Thank you Drs Carl Alexander Frisk Moh. Dede and Carl Alexander Frisk for your kind help. It is so easy to work with GIS software (especially QGIS) for disease mapping as compared to CorelDraw. YouTube really helped me to learn more about the software. I am sure R would be more helpful as recommended by Dr Ákos Bede-Fazekas but I have avoided it this time as I had never used it before.
