I want to build a datum CSYS which is attached to a moving part. The desired result is that during the simulation and deformation, the datum CSYS should follow the motion of the moving part.
Imagine a motor attached to a moving part. When the part is in motion, the relative orientation between the motor and the part should stay unchanged. So, when define the rotation axis of the motor in Abaqus, I need to define a datum CSYS fixed in the moving part. And the z axis of the datum CSYS would be used as the rotation axis of the motor.
It seems like, by default, the defined datum CSYS does not change its position and orientation during the simulation. Could anyone tell me what should I do to obtain a moving datum coordinate system?
