dear all, i would like to ask how to count using allred method in IHC, i have several paper that i have read but i have difficulties in understanding the calculation of intensitiy score, if anyone give me an example in detail, I would like to thanks.

attached is a frequently cited illustration of Allred's score. Proportion sore and intensity are added for this score. This is unlike many other scores, such as the the histo-score (h-score), which multiply intensity and proportion.
Concerning the Allred score, I particularly like the proportions and frequently use them to quantify IHC-stained cells regardless of intensity.
