I am trying to generate a hybrid mesh in ICEM CFD. I also manage to merge the mesh nodes of different types at the interfaces. however, after importing to ANSYS Fluent, the boundary conditions are not recognized, and the mesh is useless in Fluent.

The problem is that there must be 2 surfaces at the interfaces in order to define them as interface boundary conditions in Fluent. But as soon as the meshes are merged, the two surfaces are also merged into one.
As you know, you have to define at least 2 interfaces in Fluent. I have done exactly as the ANSYS guide, but the same problem happened every time.
