How to correctly isolate mitochondria associated membranes?

Does anyone have expertise in isolating mitochondria associated membranes (MAM)? I have performed the method multiple times however, I cannot isolate Mitochondria and MAMs correctly so that they are distinct. I would greatly appreciate anyones help.
