Hi everyone i have data from FDTD(software) which represents image in which on X& Y-axis are microns(as shown in figure) but when i plot that data into MATLAB it gives me image with pixels on X&Y axis(as shown in figure).. How can i convert pixels to microns?????

I meant provide your FDTD output data, and mention which MATLAB command/function you've used.

Your output is a 2D array, which each value is an index into the colormap, so your data are basically color indices (rather than scalar values). In this example, "Book1", input data is 200*200 array, so elements associate with rectangular segment in the image (or pixels). Therefore, this set of data contains color indices of each pixel in a rectangular space (and obviously, dimensionless). This can be seen easily in your second image (MATLAB output ), which is a 200*120 array of color indices data.
So, basically, your data are dimensionless (color rather than metrics). Also, you did not provide FDTD output for this set of data; however, I think the problem is a scaling issue, as can be seen in the two above images.
