I use in routine"Powdll Converter" to convert files from Brüker format (*.raw and *.uxd) to Panalytical ones (e.g., *.xrdml), and vice-versa, and also to convert these files into simple 2-columns ascii files (e.g., *.xy files). I use "Powdll Converter" version 2.35, and it works well. The latest version is 2.42, but I have not tested this version.

The Bruker and Rigaku *.raw are not the same format (to my knowledge), but both may be converted using PowdllConverter (I have no experience with the Rigaku format, though).

Last year I had the same problem, One of my colleagues suggested this Converter and she told me she has used this convertor and it is very good. Any way have you tried excel (e.g. offiice 2010)? you can easily convert many format to other by excel.

XPert HighScore + read raw files. You do not need to convert them.

You're right, X'pert Highscore is able to read Brüker *.raw files, at least from version 1 to version 4 (I have checked it with HighScore v 2.2e on raw files v. 4). But here, the question was on JADE (Rigaku) raw and *.pid file format (that I don't know). Since Powdll explicitly converts Stoe/Scintag/Rigaku/Shimadzu *.raw files (which are not necessarily the same that the Brüker ones), I think this may be a good solution. I do not have a solution for *.pid files, tough.

There is a problem with Brüker uxd files and PSD detectors, which takes its origin in the fomat of the files. If you collect your data with a PSD detector, the step will be something like 0.008359751° : in fact, it results from the calibration of the detector. If your files has a two-columns format (2theta, detector counts), this is not a problem. However, to save some space, some files use a format with (2theta_beginning, step_value, number_of_step, and all the detector counts). If the step_value has not enough significant numbers, there will be an inaccurate value of the angle : this is what may occurs in uxd files if they are not set in two-columns format. As a result, the values of the lattice parameters obtained will be inaccurate.

Please note that it is always possible to send me directly these "stuborn" files to try to reproduce the error and thus fix it. Usually there is no error and it is just a matter of extension interpretation: e.g. a file might have a .raw extension but it is not the usual raw but a plain ascii file.

PowDLL  not installing on Windows 10. Asking for Microsoft .NET Framework 2 and I already have the newest one.

You have to install all the versions of .net framework. @Ali Kaouk. Then probably it will be installed.

Just change the extension to ".xy" for this file and everything will work. "dat" files are reserved for specific files.
