I am conducting a Meta-analysis where I have data of only survival plots. I am stuck on performing meta-analysis on it because there is no control group for the studies. How should I perform pooled survival analysis on it. Are there any studies that I could use for reference?
Dear Affan. If there is no comparison you can present hazard rates, instead a hazard ratios, which is the ratio of two hazard rates. However, I have difficulties seeing how you can conduct a meta-analysis based on survival plots? I think you need either individual-participant-data, or HR data. I don't think extracting data from survival plots is very reliable for a meta-analysis, (the resolution of all the plots needs to be razor sharp). Why not summarize findings in a narrative manner?
