We are planning an intervention study to reduce domestic violence. I wonder if you can guide me how to compare the prevalence of violence before and after the intervention in the same sample using SPSS. The samples are clustered and that needs to be taken into consideration.

Dear Miss Ayub and Mr Vahdatifar, Thank you so much for your follow up. We will use standard questionnaire and based on the answers we will categorize types of violence(physical, sexual, emotional) as yes/no. So the measurements will be if the women experienced any of violence (yes/no). What we want to see is if the prevalence of experience of any type decreases after intervention. For example if the prevalence of physical violence was 70% at the begging and then 60% after the intervention, is this decrease significant. And most importantly we have clusters that we need to take into consideration.
