How to coat metallic substrate with Ag via dip coating (Immersion coating)?

I want to study antibacterial effect of Ag on various metallic substrates via dip coating. which solution should I prepare to immerse materials to precipitate Ag. any other coating methods are available to create an Ag coating? i will appreciate to introduce any references may help .
