I am working on a multi cationic material that has Li in it. I wish to measure the conductivity of my sample. We have a 3 electrode system with Ag/AgCl as a ref, platinum, and glassy carbon electrodes. I coat my material on the glassy carbon electrode for measurements. The question is, which is the electrolyte that I need to use for conductivity measurements? Since I am new to the techniques, I would highly appreciate some help.

Unless your material is graphite, you could use propylene carbonate with a suitable salt. That's what the Li battery community used till they found out that it doesn't work with graphite specifically. I'm not sure if you'd need to have all the cations that are in your sample in the electrolyte also, but common salts for Na and Li are MPF6 and MTFSI, where M=Li,Na. The logic there is that the larger the anion, the easier it is to separate it from the cation (so higher solubility), and the less mobile the anion (higher cation transference number).
