Most of journals require for paper submission to suggest three or four reviewers. How to choose them ?
Is it among the authors of the papers cited in your manuscript, among the members of the editorial board or other criteria ?
Since I have faced a problem with a journal for which my paper spent more than seven months with the status "Reviewers invited".

Sure, the experts in the field but sometimes you suggest them and they decline to review the paper. In addition, do you think that the editor-in- chief invites all of them to review the paper ?
