Hi All,

I am starting to work with Cirrus quadruple mass spectrometer to detect and quantify the products of CO2 reduction in a continuous flow reactor system. Multiple products such as CO, CH3OH, C2H5OH, C2H4, C2H6, CH4, H2 are expected. I am unable to decide what kind of calibration gas should I order to begin my calibration prior to analysis. should i go with binary gas mixtures with 100 ppm of each gas and balance with Argon ?

In this case how do I obtain multiple concentrations of each gases? can it be done with controlling the flow rates using mass flow controllers? or should I buy 4 different concentrations of gas cylinders?

Kindly let me know your views and suggestion. I am happy to explain further my question if its not clearly stated above.

Thank you very much
