I need a help in calculating TPC of Clove bud oil (1.04 g/ml). which was diluted to get the concentration of 1mg/ml, from that 100 micro liter was taken for assay, final volume was made upto 10 ml . From the galllic acid curve i got 563 micro gram/ml, how to express it in mg GAE/g

Total phenolic content = 563 ug/ml of reaction medium.
= 563×10 ug/10 ml of reaction medium.
= 5630 ug/10 ml of reaction medium (or 100 ul of diluted sample).
= 56300 ug/1000 ul (or 1 ml) of diluted sample.
= 56.3 mg GAE/ml diluted sample.
Where DF is dilution factor = 1040.
= 56.3 mg GAE× DF/ml clove oil.
= 56.3 mg GAE × 1040/ml clove oil
= 58552 mg GAE/ml clove oil.
= 58552 mg GAE/ml/density of oil
= 58552/1.04=56300 mg GAE/g clove oil.

I agree with Noel W Davies , this result is not normal....there is a problem somewhere. However, the procedure of calculation that I previously described does not change.
