I want to control the speed of the synchronous motor .Firstly i used the three phase rectifier and output is fed to the spwm inverter ,and that output is fed to the synchronous motor, in simscape for a synchronous motor how i want to give the Tm what is the formula for getting the Tm.Could u please help me in this problem as early as possible.

Is Tm the mechanical torque? If it is so then for motor for example it will depend
on the application , say a fan load , it varies with square of speed approximately, or a lift then it is a constant. In case of generator it depends on the prime mover controls and load is now the counter electromagnetic torque .
