Thank you. Sebastian i have some basic knowledge of XPS its very hard to understand this physical chemistry...I have peak and survey tables...I just want to know the formula or to find the ratio
There are a few commercial software tools that could help you and links above have already suggested CasaXPS.
The ratio of peaks are dependent upon the cross section of the element for a specific energy as well as the distribution of the particles. SESSA or QUASES (http://www.quases.com/products/quases-tougaard/) are software tools that could aid in the quantification even for nanoparticles.
It is also important to consider the equipment contribution. More info can for example be found in Drera et al, Journal of Electron Spectroscopy and Related Phenomena 195 (2014) 109 (http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0368204814001455). Many analytical software programs already take this into account within the software.
For the specific case of Iron I could on the top of my head recommend work doen by Cristina Isvoranu on Fe containing organic molecules (http://www.avhandlingar.se/avhandling/3a44edcff5/). Purhaps you find some info that will help you forward there.
