I have deposited AZO thin films on Si and found the UV-VIS spectra in reflection mode, then I did the Kubelka–Munk transformation.How do I find band gap?
Thank you Mazin A. Hameed Al-alousi that was really helpful. With this reference calculation I can do the same for the other datas. I just want to know what is the formula you have used to find out the "Abs." in column B. I also see that you have used the K-M transform data as "Trans." in column C. Is it usually true that the K-M transform of the reflection data is related to "Trans." because I have seen in some places to relate it with absorption?
I considered the transform as the transmittance values.
Trans. = transmittance% which is you labeled as " transform " , and you used the reflectance without division on the maximum set value of the device.
