Dear scholars,

I run XRD on raw and calcined clay and I do expect the calcined clay to exhibit higher amorphicity according to what I have read in the literature. The instrument and the software I'm using is BRUKER D4 and DiffracEva, respectively. I'm using the built-in algorithm of the software to calculate the amorphous content of my sample, but it doesn't give me the result I expect. It would be highly appreciated if you let me know about any other methods to compute the crystalline/amorphous content of my sample.

Thanks,

Morteza
