How to calculate step cadence with activPAL data?

Hi, I've got an activPAL data set and I need to calculate the step cadence to work out MVPA. can anyone advise on the best way of calculating it please? examples would be much appreciated. See attached a piece of my data set.

As far as I know the Activpal software will export cadence in 15s or potentially 1 min epochs, and it is classified as steps taken in certain cadence bands within that epoch.
