Once we have partition functions combined with electronic energies, we get the Gibbs free energies (and other thermodynamic properties). As far as I can tell, the electronic part in the usual implementations does not go further beyond the low-lying energy states, which has profound influence on the entropy of open-shell systems. Como vc pode ver no link que anexei junto a minha pergunta, o software Gaussian tem um passo a passo para tratar os resultados termodinâmicos que vêm de um cálculo de frequência. Seguindo o mesmo passo a passo usando o Orca não funciona. Além disso, dependendo do meu sistema, os cálculos apresentam erros enormes. Acredito que encontrei uma maneira melhorzinha de calcular os ΔfH e ΔfG no livro do Cramer, mas ainda assim, ainda tenho uns erros chatos. Mas obrigado pela sua resposta!
