I have 2 Aluminum plate electrodes anode and cathode. each plate of 2.5x3x0.1 cm dimension, and connected to a power supply. I want to use this electrodes in electrochemical processes. Please, how can i calculate current density
my study is about oxidation and reduction reactions that is occurring between the elements of the electrolytes in the fluid in the presence of electrical current not between the electrodes and the fluid ,then should i calculate the current density at the surface of the electrodes ,or i should calculate the current density by dividing the the total current by the section area of the fluid in between the electrodes ?
