For my thesis I need sharp interface between gas and liquid. But I'm getting a a transition layer between gas and liquid. Can any one tell me how to avoid this problem. Please
IsoAdvector (Article A Computational Method for Sharp Interface Advection
) may help you keeping the interface sharp. The respective solver is called interIsoFoam (http://www.openfoam.com/releases/openfoam-v1706/numerics.php#numerics-isoadvector)!
Matthias Rauter mentioned isoAdvector. I use it for complex bubble flows and it gives the best results by far. The isoAdvector that is included in the openoam.com version, as well as the original github repo, at the time of writing this, is a bit behind the most recent developments.
