I wanted to ask if someone has a suggestion concerning the avoidance of autofluorescence in paraffin sections of mouse hearts?

Background fluorescence could be notably reduced by using a solution of sodium borohydride (NaBH4, 0.1%) for 30min at room temperature (RT) and/or 0.1 M glycine in PBS, pH 7.4, for 30min-1h at room temperature (RT). For lipid autofluorescence the best option is Sudan Black B
