I am working on a model to evaluate an MRF (Steel beam to column connection). in the experimental test that carried out on the specimen, The loading sequence mentioned on the AISC has been applies (Ref. to picture). I am wondering that how I can apply this kind of loading in Abaqus. as the first try, I converted these cyclic loads to cyclic displacements. is it correct of not? by this approach, the results are so underestimate. I could not find the fault.

The mentioned cycles are not load or displacement cycles, these are drift cycles. first, you should multiply these drifts to the length of the beam that is being tested to convert them into displacement cycles then import them to the Abaques. the software will return histories of displacement and forces. by multiplying the forces and dividing the displacements to the length of the beam, the moment and drift history of related connection will be calculated respectively.
