How to Apply Dampers in Abaqus Implicit at the Lateral Boundary nodes?

1.) How do I apply Dampers in the lateral boundaries for my Abaqus model in both X and Y directions (for P and S Wave Damping)?

I am using Dynamic Implicit Analysis.

2.) Also help me with how should I calculate the value of the Time Period required for my analysis which is needed while I select the Dynamic Implicit Analysis.
