We measure an current of electron beam by a faraday cup. We can analyze change of the current with the pressure of the vessel. The pressure of our vessel change when we send the gas in the vessel. When we turn on gas valve, pressure of the vessel increase. And we measure the current of electron beam by faraday cup. So we can analyse how to change electron beam signal with the pressure.
thanks for kind reply but my system for measuring the electron beam current with a Faraday Cup is quite different because source of Plasma Focus Device is Plasma Focus from where electron beam comes and hit the plate of Faraday cup and behind FC, a circuit is adjusted to provide the self potential to the FC to see the current signal on the oscilloscope and after getting the signal of current on oscilloscope, I want to analyse this signal w.r.t. few different factors, for instance, charge, total charge, charge density, no. of charges which are going to approach on FC , electron beam energy, energy distribution function etc with the varying of pressure say 0.7, 1, 1.5, 1.7, 2, 2.5 mbars where optimized pressure is 1.7 mbar.
if you know how to analyse these factor from current signal be seen on oscilloscope,
I know how to use the Time of Flight technique to calculate the electron beam energy but if you know some one new technique , it will be better to analyse by new method.
Further, if you know the simulation or programming, then can you help me how to run a program to justify my result by any program which will be suitable for my work or any suggested program.
