The preparation of nanofluids is the first key step in experimental studies. Choosing the preparation technique depends on the type of particles and also the application. However, the stability of the nanofluid is a challenge. Failing to maintain the nanofluid enhanced characteristics/properties means that the desired objectives will not be efficiently achieved. there is a quite number of research on the preparation of nanofluids and their different approaches. However, the stability of the mixture is directly related to the method used in the synthesis of the fluid. you can find many published works on the preparation of the nanofluid mixtures in the literature. One of the most common techniques represents in using the magnetic stirrer to make the mixture homogeneous for a certain time and then use the ultrasound bath. if you want to be them stable against agglomeration you need sterically stabilized particles. Electrostatic stabilization should break in saline environment.
