Hi all,

I have a problem while defining an additional node for connecting two connectors in series.

As mentioned in Abaqus Documentation, for series connection additional node needs to be defined.

I need to generate connection between 2 vertices with stiffness(spring) and play(stop connection in abaqus) between them.

The play is around 0.01mm and stiffness 1000N/mm.

The two vertices have a displacement of of 1.5mm. and a relative displacement about 20-30 microns.

What should I use to generate the additional node?
