Please somebody answer to my question:

How the macro-monomer containing one double bond with long chain structure can be activated with small monomer such as acrylic acid or maleic anhydride in copolymerization reaction? Because due to the bulky structure of the macro-monomer, it doesn't like to participate in the copolymerization, and consequently the conversion of the polymerization is reduced. This is important to note that this reaction is carried out using initiator and reducing agent (oxidation - reduction system) and heat.
