After enumerating the problem of classrooms in the Arab world in general, with differences that may differ from one country to another (but remain generally close), technology is a solution that can contribute to the elimination or at least to reduce it. The most important question remains: How can this be done? This is what we will try to answer below:

- The problem of Sarhan students: There is no doubt that the adoption of technology in education will be a viable solution because of students' love of technology and proximity to and use them on a daily basis.

The curriculum is limited to keeping pace with the knowledge explosion: Computer technology can help learners and teachers to deal with the vast amount of information that may be saved in CDs or ordinary CDs or stored in the computer or on the Internet (cloud storage). Also using computer technology, the learner is no longer obliged to buy books or encyclopedias of large sizes while they are available on compact discs at cheap prices.
Third: Semester and school administration
- Class overcrowding and lack of teachers: The use of computer technology can contribute significantly to address this problem using programs prepared by specialists in the field of education, which allow interaction between students and computers. Technology also gives us an opportunity to learn individually where each student can handle the computer and get the information he wants according to his ability and willingness to learn.
- The lesson time is very small for the curriculum: we can overcome it through our use of the new technology education, which provides a lot of time as the accumulation of the amount required to be taught at a given time. The information that the teacher needs for a long time to communicate to the learner, technology can deliver through the presentation of video tutorial or pictures or calligraphers ...
- The problem of wasted time: e-learning exceeds the constraints of time and space in the educational process, and takes into account the individual differences between learners, and contributes to solving the problem of overcrowded classrooms and lecture halls and meet the deficit in teaching staff, and disseminates the culture of education and training, Educational programs that allow students, teachers, parents and school management to communicate.

Some things to think about:
- Technology should be integrated with purpose. This could be for any number of reasons, and not restricted to pedagogy. Increasing engagement might be a good reason to integrate devices. However, if there is no value added, then it is easily a detracting influence. Computers and tablets have no inherent value that transfers when introduced to a classroom.
- Technology should augment rather than replace. If learning is a social activity, then the person-to-person element is important. Otherwise, we are retracing our steps back to B.F. Skinner-style behaviorism.
- Technology will introduce equity issues. This is an easy way to exacerbate the haves vs. have-nots, because cost is a huge factor. Also, because of this, there are many confounding variables to consider when measuring impact of technology introduction, and controlling for technology usage becomes difficult at larger scales.
Workshops and seminars should be organized to educate them on the importance of using technology to fascilitate the teaching/learning process. They should also be trained on how to use such technologies.
I am a teacher in Hungary and I have used DVD player to display some interesting experiences what is not possible to realize at school. The students enjoyed it. They have at home internet and they always told me that they have red about this and that. So the internet repleaces now the library, one must not lock out it from classroom.

Dear Éva Szőke i believe that technology is not replacing the library but enhancing it in terms of digital library which you can have access anywhere on a palm of your hand. Furthermore, the students have to be monitored and educate on how positively and effectively use the technology.
The technologies used in education depend on age, profession and level of education.

If you consider the inverse—that if learning were not tied to technology, it would not be effective—then you back yourself into a corner. You've made technology a necessary component to learning, rather than an augmenting one.

A question to think about: If you were to implement a study establishing that technology had a positive effect on student outcomes, how would you disambiguate the underlying cause(s) to be motivational, pedagogical, or due to cultural relevance?

I think technology will replace library. The world is going in this direction. Most of the books and other literatures, newspapers etc. are already digitalized. Something to find on the internet is much easier and faster than to look after in a usual library. Its disadvantage is that many good old books and encyclopaedias come into the trashholder without reading and knowing by young people. Earlier if somebody wanted to know something choosed an encyclopaedia or more ones to understand the problem. Nowadays one types the searched word into the google and one finds it immediately in wikipedia and that is. In Hungary the children are on top of the internet and they read just a few books. How I remember the "Harry Potter" was the famousest exception.
I consider it necessary to address the edges of educational technology, not only electronic means, it is much more than that, are the ways that the teacher uses for the apprentice subject to appropriate the necessary and sufficient content so that it can operate in life , without denying the value reached by the scientific and technical development, which can not distance us from the human condition.
Technology has become a very promising tool and strategy for education. It facilitates the teaching and learning processes and promote digital literacy at the same time. However, simply using technology in teaching doesn't guarantee positive outcomes or perceptions. Using technology needs to come with engaging pedagogy in order to foster learning.

By the very nature of your question, you demonstrate the place of technology in teaching. I am not a product of the computer age and am ignorant of its ability, but I am talking to you on my time. You will be able to respond in your time, but in a much more efficient time than a letter writing discourse. I am able to turn on a computer and have real time access to multiple subjects and points of view. Teaching is about knowledge and technology is knowledge applied. That does not mean that technology can replace teachers. Teachers are the translators of technology. Technology is a magnificent tool to enhance learning, a forum to share ideas and promote understanding of different cultures. With anything, technology can be misused, but for a technophobe pursuing a Masters in Nursing, technology is an amazing thing. There is so much good that can be accomplished with technology as a tool. Distance learning is wonderful for adults because of the convenience and reduced educational costs. Computers provide enhanced learning via video presentations. The 3-D goggles allow students to visit place and feel the culture in a very visceral way. i will see the Great Pyramids of Egypt some day, but for now, I can feel like I am there because of technology.
I have considered teaching English as a second language via the computer and thought prior to taking this Master's program that it would not work for me. But, I am beginning to see the possibilities.

Technology is not teaching but a tool to support teaching. It presents itself in a variety of ways. In my classroom, I use technology to provide videos so my students can see things that are not readily available to them or to support or enhance a lesson. I use technology to present information that has been prepared in advance which supports time and presentation of lessons. I also have students use technology to advance themselves at their own pace in areas that target individual needs. These are supports but do not replace the teaching of content.
To respond to some of the other responses, I agree, as I have said, that technology is not the teaching but it is the direction that many aspects of knowledge acquisition and information retrieval are going. Computers are a large part of industry, economics, education, and many other areas of the world. The children I teach know more than many of the senior set today on how to maneuver in the digital world. Teachers must now teach digital citizenship and safety in the schools so must be up to date on what is available and be able to teach children how to use the tools safely and productively.
Christina, that is an excellent analysis of the question. What I might add is that technology is an opportunity to express creativity as well. With the various graphic design, art and media studies apps, a student can flourish. A school computer is an expensive cost outlay but over time, it has to be cost effective in terms of art supplies. The question then is art something that is prized in a poor region where an education is necessary only to the point that employment is possible
Most knowledge can be 'automated' by technical means today; the role of 'assembly pedagogics' remains for social group learning and project team work.

This is a very interesting question, my dear colleagues. I would like to share my opinion from the other side of the classroom, from the students' point of view. As a student, I mostly see that teaching technology is invented to help teachers delivering the materials to as many student as possible, as fast as possible. It is understandable since learning opportunity is still a luxury. For the teachers, this is fine. But it isn't so, for the students. We need to understand that our brain need time to digest things we see, experience or learn. Sometimes, we need to go all over again, and again to understand something. Here, technology will not mean much. It certainly help us learn comfortably, but it doesn't make us smarter.
