We are interested in isolation of streptomyces species from different types of marshy soils. We have isolated some species but want to have clear distinction between streptomyces and other spore bearing actinobacteria.

Streptomyces can be grown on different ISP-4 media. Starch casein agar with inhibitor can be used as selective media for screening of Streptomyces. You can refer the following articles for other selective media and further details

I agree with Dr. Saba and Galal Ali's answers, you should use starch casein agar with specific antibiotics to isolate only Streptomyces spp.
