We all work in an environment where we use computers extensively for carrying out research.But i believe that not many know the actual interactions between the software and hardware,I want know the same.I mean as I am writing this want is happening between the software and hardware that tells the processor that write this and that and same is happening along with the display on the LCD.
Its really fascinating!!!!!
Please suggest me the literature to understand the same.I believe it goes to the heart of the core electronics.

Okay.
But I want to know the internal working of the processor and whole PC configuration at the hardware level.
Using soft wares I do get the rough idea but what happens inside the core?
For example when I store some data into the pen drive(say) then how the flip flops are manipulated to store the data and how they are read giving me same information on some other platform?
