Dear Sir. Concerning your issue about the purification of CuBr with glacial acetic acid. CuBr was purified by washing three times with glacial acetic acid, twice with absolute ethanol and twice with diethyl ether. So, CuBr was purified by stirring with glacial acetic acid for 24 h at room temperature, followed by rinsing with ethanol and diethyl ether, and then drying overnight in vacuum.
