Am currently working on novel design of savonius wind turbine to enhance efficiency. During CFD am using ansys fluent to create mesh and proceeding to solver am getting confusion. The question is will i be giving value of rotaion to my rotor in transient case,if yes then how,and will i use that specific omega value to calculate Cp. If not then how should i proceed to extract results.And how can i calculate RPM or omega from ansys..Also can i calculate Cp directly from ansys.. i would be very thankful for the guidance recieve.
