How should i prepare sample for XRD analysis. I want to characterize CuO (expecting) nanoparticles ?? Whats the standard procedure for that ??

It depends upon the type of the instrument. For powder XRD instrument you need a dry sample in powder form. The sample pit is filled with powder.
