i want to find the association between salivary flow rate and body mass index and there is a negetive associatin as there is association between flow rate and gender so i want to show that how much the gender effect it so PR is necessary and as i study there is a way to calculate PR from multiple regression but how it should be calclualted.
Hi Brishna, your question is not clear. Could you rephrase? Why are you looking at PR in MR? Do you mean Odds ratio?
In any case, you can compute ratio statistics [in SPSS]: Analyze --> Descriptive --> Ratio Statistics.... for a wide varieties of ratios.

To get an indication of how much a certain variable contributes to the total R square in the regression analysis, take the part correlation for that variable and square it (part correlation2). The you get a % of how much it contributes to R2
