In the Gwyddion, how can I change the Z values? I have a distribution of results, I like to limit the Z values to make better resolution in some areas, but I can not find the proper option.
Attached is a result of SKPM from Cypher Analysis.
Actually it seems very simple question, but I couldn't find the option. I really appreciate to know your answers.
Tool Read Value. When the radius is 1, the value of a single pixel is displayed. Button Set Zero shifts the surface to make the current z the new zero level.
if you want to Rescale Z for comparing roughness of different surfaces, for post processed of data files retrieved from AFM make the Z scale is same. For example, default maximum height of data is 600nm and we want to scale to 1200nm. for 2D images: Icon: Tools - Stretch color range to part of data - Explicitly set fixed color range and then changie the Maximum into 1200 nm. for 3D images: Open data files (in 2D view default), click on View Icon- Display a 3D view of data - Show full controls and Change the Value scale to 0.5 (600/1200)
