Lot of energy/money required to run a treatment plant. There are also some set standards for treated sewage water before releasing it. How continuously they are being managed in your city/country.
Dear,
In the state and metropolitan area of São Paulo (39 municipalities) the control is done by SABESP.
Are five treatment plants that treat sewage:
ETE ABC: 3mil l / s
ETE Barueri: 9.5 mil l / s
ETE Parque Novo Mundo: 2.5 mil l / s
ETE Parque Novo Mundo: 1.5 mil l / s
ETE Suzano: 1.5 mil l / s
Treatment according to SABESP is 72.5%.
