I am experiencing the worst effect of climate change on Indian Agriculture since last two years. Specially during the rainy seasons there was almost nil rainfall in many grain bowels of the country and it occurred when not desired. When the crops are going to mature all pf sudden hailstorms occurred, High speed winds start flowing with heavy rain, which results in heavy loss. In Uttar Pradesh lot farmers are dying due to shock of losses.
Your opinion is invited about high occurrence of these type activity in this zone.
I think Indian continent are not suffering climatic change impact. If i can say agriculture crops are more suffered in Nepal Himalayas. For example in Kathmandu city, climate is temperate but past few years sup tropical fruits and crops are growing successfully. In the past valley was suitable for apple, apricot, walnut etc. but nowadays the valley is suitable for papaya, mango, litchi etc.

Climate and its variability and change cuts across political borders and continents. When it is, a global phenomenon one can expect variations in climate change manifestations geographically depending on many factors that characterize the climate at specific locations. Climate change over the Indian Peninsula can be more severe than other regions in the world due to its unique geographical characteristics (water on three sides and Himalayas on one side) with a unique monsoonal climate.
Climate warming can increase land-sea contrasts -the basic cause of monsoon (Southwest monsoon) climate- and thus affect climate of the Indian peninsula more severely than other places in the world. These are only my thoughts; there ‘can’ be other views on the issue negating or supporting this.

Dear @Saseendran S Anapalli; Indeed the India has unique Monsoonal climate which get affected badly in the climate change scenario mare as compare to other parts of world. We were benefiting too earlier with this feature. Here I want some discussion that Can we expect some new crops in the are in coming days?
