Biofilm formation is influenced by the characteristics of aqueous environment for example temperature, pH , nutrients availability, concentration of ions and season etc. Seasonal variation also effect the formation of biofilm community.

Because when climatic condition are changed , the chemical properties of water also changes.Warmer temperatures often promote microbial growth and biofilm development, while nutrient fluctuations and changes in sunlight can further modulate these processes
