Normally standard RF transistors are soldered to PCB or copper heatsink. For mounting transistor (example BLM10D3438-70ABG https://www.ampleon.com/products/mobile-broadband/3.3-4.2-ghz-transistors/BLF8G38LS-75V.html) on aluminium heatsink simple reflow soldering is impossible. Could anybody help me with standard procedures for mounting RF transistor on aluminium heatsink. (I have tried to solder on PCB SMD type, but transistor is too hot). Lastly, the transistor case do not have any flange for screwing to heatsink.
Thanks in advance.
