The process starts with planting a seed that sprouts in duration of time. Indeed, it is nurtured and emerge as a plant. Then, it requires fencing for its protection. Meanwhile it grows as a Tree and share the ripen fruits and shade to everyone in a quite impartial and genrous manner. Similarly, a researcher enters in research with an idea. Then idea is nurtured with review of prior research and extraction of data. At this stage the researcher needs protection as predatory Journals push calls for papers in the email inbox that may spoil the efforts and existence of researcher. If the fencing of Research Ethics is cretaed for protection,, the researcher grows up as an eminent researcher and share the fruits of knowledge through publications and provides the shade of mentorship to everone as Reviewer, Editor or a profound Reader with multiple branches in the form of collaboration loaded with fruits of publication.

I'll go further with your theory. A tree cannot survive alone, it needs constant interactions with all class of actors, insects, animals, bacterias, mushrooms, and even humans, in the air, in the earth, in the light, and in the water. In a similar way, science and researchers should be also connected with the rest of the world.

Unlike a tree, a researcher will need active collaboration from other researchers ("other trees") in order to grow to the full potential, as good research cannot be done in an isolated manner.
